Greetings!

End of Grading Period Tuesday, March 16th is end of the grading period. I will cut off grades at 4:20 p.m. if you check Power School, the grade their is the grade that will be on your child's report card unless they turn something in. If they turn something in there should be an e-mail that says 'this is what I have done' so I know to go look at it to grade it. After an assignment has entered the gradebook I do not receive notifications about it any longer.

Partner Project This week is our first week of Scenarios. There are random scenarios and each pair will choose a number and receive their fate. We will also talk about clarifying our amounts for mortgages. This Wednesday students will work with their partners on a meal plan and then grocery list so they know what to take out of their finances to feed themselves.

Unit Seven Test Even though we are just starting Unit Seven this week, we will already be testing it NEXT week. Unit Seven is a shorter Unit; Unit Eight is EVEN shorter. So please make sure you are keeping up with your notes when you are remote so you are ready for the test when it comes.

Questions? E-mail me at kemiller@gaston.k12.nc.us Thank you for your time!
