Greetings!

Partner Project This week we are going clothes shopping. It is typical in the U.S. that someone gets at least two new outfits twice a year (warm weather v. cold weather). If someone is more of a fashionista they may literally change their whole wardrobe so they are up on the classic trends (a reason for the nickname "throwaway society"). You and your partner will need to go shopping (with pictures and costs) for outfits from under items to outer items for everyone in your partner group (kids? they need clothes too). You will save pictures of the outfits for the presentation and also need to know how much it costs. Some people who thrifting for fun and others go out of necessity. You can go thrifting without actually spending money, but will need to find like items for your pictures. YOU SHOULD NOT BE GOING OUT AND ACTUALLY BUYING THESE THINGS. If you are behind on any part of the partner project, you should make sure you get caught up so you are not behind.

Goodbye Unit Seven Test We are already wrapping up Unit Seven and testing it this week. We will also be working on finishing our Everfi Personal Finance Lessons. Next week we will start Unit Eight which is really so important, but also so very short. Unit Eight is going to cover the differences between Local and State governments in comparison to the Federal Governments we've been focused on the majority of this semester.

Inaccuracies in Canvas At the moment, the grade as it appears is inaccurate in Canvas (It is usually inaccurate because the test grades don't factor in correctly due to missing Constructed Response Points and it not being out of 100), but items from the first nine weeks appear on this nine weeks in Canvas because our 9-weeks schedule was set with the rest of the county so items that were on the last report card are appearing in Canvas as part of the Fourth Nine Weeks when really they were on the Third Nine Weeks. Please check Power School for up to date grading.
